October 5, 2008 - Category: Bike News |

In India you have lot of bikes. Some look good whereas some have a very smooth handling. Yamaha FZ16 has both. It is best looking bike on Indian road right now.

The primary contributors in FZ16 appearance are:

  • Radial tubeless tyres
  • Muscular tank
  • Studdy and short exhaust.
  • V shaped headlamps

Engine:
Yamaha FZ16 is fitted with 153cc air cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, 2-valve SOHC engine. It gives a maximum output of 14 Ps and maximum torque of 14 Nm. Yamaha FZ16 also has a electric starter.

Suspension:
A Mono cross rear suspension unit offers 120 mm of wheel travel, whereas optimized oil and damping valve specs facilitate agile running performance and handling.

Muffler:
To provide a sense of volume to the machine, an external diameter of 35mm is adopted in a 2-layer type exhaust to minimize the effect of heat on the pipe.

Disc brake:
At the front, a large 267mm disc brake is adopted. The two-pot caliper makes full use of the outer perimeter of the disc to provide strong stopping power.
