Honda and Suzuki recently launched CB1000R(998cc) and Bandit(1255cc) respectively. The latest to join the sports band wagon club is Yamaha FZ1. The Bike is priced at Rs. 8.70 lakh(Delhi). This bike is going to come in two color options namely black and white.
The bike has a very aggressive styling and is known more for its chiseled looks. The engine has 998cc motor which comes from R1. The engine has 5 valves per cylinder which is going to produce a whooping 150PS at 11000 rpm. This sports superbike is going to give 106Nm at 8000rpm which will place this bike as the most powerful inline-4 in India.
Another addition to the Yamaha offering is SZ-R which will be a premium variant for present SZ commuter. The biggest drawback for SZ was absence of disc brakes which will not be there in the Yamaha SZ-R. It will come with front disc brakes, fuel tank protector and tachometer. Yamaha SZ-R will be slightly pricier then SZ(Rs. 49,000) and will come for Rs, 55,000.
