    Bajaj Kristal DTSi

    Bajaj Kristal Brief Review

Sleek and spacious, Bajaj Kristal is a petite and UN-geared scooter from the Bajaj house. The 95 cc attractively designed scooter has a kick/ES start with a motorized fuel pump. Owing to its light weight, navigating the Bajaj Kristal through traffic becomes relatively more facile and feasible.

Based on the DTS-I Technology it has two spark plugs, which gives absolute burning of the fuel (optimizing power and mileage) and a digital ignition system, which alters with load conditions ensuring a good pick up.

Incorporated in the exhaust of the Bajaj Kristal is a device called Exhaust Tec (Torque Expansion Chamber), which considerably improves the torque of the engine at low engine revs without making a compromise on mid and high revs. The maximum torque of Bajaj Kristal is 7.66Nm at 5,500 rpm. The maximum speed is 80 km per hour and maximum power is 7.2 Ps (5.38 KW) at 7,500 rpm.

Some of the other enticing features of Bajaj Kristal are:

    • It has a front fueling system, which has been incorporated keeping the riders comfort in mind as it will not require the rider to get off every time to refill the tank. The tank has a fuel capacity of 6 liters
    • The storage space is not only comfortably large at 22 liters, it also has a remote opening system, automatic illumination and an alarm signifying the opening or closing of the seat
    • A penta lock system incorporating the operation of five different functions through one key location
    • The light sensor automatically switches the pilot, tail and speed console light on, while riding through dark areas
    • The SNS or Spring in Suspension gives extra comfort to the rider no matter what the road condition is like
    • It has a low battery and fuel gauge with reserve indicator indicating low batter or petrol level

Bajaj Kristal is not only a stylish scooter but it also extremely ergonomic. Ideal for those who do not compromise on either style or comfort.

Bajaj Kristal has fuel pump to supply petrol. But in case of battery is low after a prolong time the vehical will not start even though ptrol is there. Then why kick start has also been provided.
