Brief Review:
Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi gives superior performance, has a great lineup of standard equipments and overall looks good too. This is one of the most visible motorcycles on Indian roads. The alternatives for this bike are HH Hunk/CBZ Xtreme/Achiever, TVS Apache RTR, Honda Unicorn.
This bike first touched road in 2001 and since then it is one of the best selling bike for Bajaj year after year. Hero Honda CBZ was only one competitor that too was in 150 cc segment which never posed a threat to the supremacy of this mean machine. Prior to its launch, people in India had only option to go for commuter motorcycles which was completely changed. People now had a choice which they embraced whole heartedly. After this bike was launched market was flooded with lots of similar ones but no one came close to it.
There are 3 colors options for this motorcycle available. It is fitted with 179 cc engine that gives out power of 17 PS and torque of 14.7 NM. It can go from 0-60kmph in just under 6 seconds and has a top speed of 115 kmph. It has an overall fuel efficiency of 50 kmpl and can take in 15l in its fuel tank. In addition to all this you get tachometer, electric start, fuel guage, tripmeter, alloy wheels and gas-charged shocks.

i know that pulser 180 byke are dabba bike and his pick up was very low for oposite yamaha r15
i own pulsar180cc few days back… it’s awesome no doubt about it but the only prob is dat with da milage… 40kmpl… in hyd da price is 75,500 (on road)

i like a pulsar bike. because its look is very nice. but you will be modify the 150cc pulsar. for example 150cc engine attach in new big 180cc chysee.

I drove pulsar 180 and its top speed is well above 115 km/h and nearly it was 124 km/h.

I bought a new 180CC BAJAJ PULSAR DTSI On June 2009 there is no problem with the bike. The bike performance is very good. I am getting a mileage @ the range of 60 to 65.I have had my 6 services done @ a nice service center @ bangalore.
