    suzuki lets

Three word that defines Let’s are fun, peppiness and enthusiasm. Suzuki Let’s is primarily designed for youth and women buyers which could be well evident by its slim body, lighter weight, easy center stand, good storage, mobile charger and storage for water bottles. Great pickup and good mid range torque are another impeccable features. Lets is number one scooty for women, senior citizen and teens.

    Design and Finish

Let’s has taken lot of design cues from its bigger and powerful sibling Swish. The plastics are well integrated into the body with the interface between plastics and matte having clean finish. Front apron is skinny and it clearly shows its feminine touch. Dual tone styling and trendy graphics on the side body panels looks stylish and sporty. It is highly focused scooty due to which its smaller foot board might not be a surprise. Center locking system like cars adds further value as it could lock all 3 namely ignition, steering and seat. Extra storage for bottles and cold drink cans is a feature primarily focused for female riders. Storage box is roomy and mobile charger is great addition especially for smart phone users. It is available in matte grey/black, pearl blue no, pearl mira red along with the classic pearl mirage white colors.

    Engine

Let’s gets power from it 4 stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC 113cc engine that crunches out a peak power of 8.7PS at 7500rpm and 9.0Nm at 6500rpm. Benefit of to its lighter kerb weight of 98kg transforms in higher speed of 90kmph, best in the class with reaching 0 – 60kmph in just 9.8 seconds. The light weight the sudden quick movements are smooth and the revvier engine give great thrust. Riding it between 20 to 65kmph where most of the city driving happens is best. Acceleration for Let’s could only be matched by more powerful Activa 125. Performance and response is the USP of Lets and it excels in this area more than any other.

    Ride and Handling

Telescopic suspension in front and swing arm type, coil spring suspension at rear is well integrated to the frame and gives good ride quality especially on good roads. Due to the smaller suspension, small wheels and low ride height riding it on bad roads might not be very comfortable. Due to its stiff body the scooter is not great in handling bumps and potholes. Taking Lets round the corners or traffic is super and handling is easy and fun. Lockable rear brake adds good safety with front and rear both wearing 120mm drum brakes. It is high time manufactures add disc brakes to these highly efficient vehicles too. Tubeless tyres offering are great as it gives peace of mind when riding especially when it is driven by women. Maintenance free battery is a boon as it does not leaks and you don’t have to worry about it.

    Mileage

On city roads fuel efficiency is great and best in the class with 65.5kmpl. However, when it comes to highways Lets returns mileage of 52.5kmpl that is not the best in its class. However, I am sure not many would take it to the highways.
