    TVS Jive Review

If you are a person who gives more weight age to comfort and convenience then style, TVS Jive is the bike for you.

TVS Jive is the first Indian bike to feature an auto transmission and definitely does justice to what it is meant for, which is facile and effortless commuting.

Jive has a 110 cc four stroke, single cylinder and an air cooling system. The maximum power that it gives is 6.18 KW (8.4bhp) at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.3 Nm at 5500 rpm, a favorable factor when you are cruising through city roads. The gearbox works efficiently and Jive also comes enabled with an Anti Stall system which prohibits the engine from stalling no matter whatever the condition is. The ignition is digital and it can be both electric and kick started. A definite plus point for TVS Jive is that one can start the bike in any gear.

The front suspension is of Inline Telescopic type while the rear suspension is a hydraulic twin shock absorber. The fuel tank capacity is set at 15 liters inclusive of the 2.1 liter reserve capacity.

The brakes (130 mm drum brake in the front and 110mm at the rear) are efficient and provide a sense of security to the rider. The seat is structured to provide good cushioning and not just the rider but also the pillion rider can sit comfortably. The under the seat storage compartment is also pretty spacious. The dashboard is simply and elegantly done with an analog speedometer and another dial containing the fuel meter, gear indicator and the neutral indicator.

When it comes to its appearance TVS Jive has a very classic look with its attractive headlamps, alloy wheels and a stylish muffler guard. It is simply and neatly done.

Due to the absence of clutch, its ride is as easy as a scooter. Overall fuel efficiency of the bike is 61.9 kmpl which is not the best but not bad either.

If you want to buy a bike that is cheap, very comfortable and convenient and you give damn to the looks then TVS Jive is the bike for you.

Available in four different colors – Black Sky, Green Forest, Blue Lightning and Red Fury, TVS Jive is highly recommended by bikers in case you are looking for a classic bike that offers great hassle free commuting.
