    TVS Scooty Zest 110
The TVS Scooty Zest 110 is the latest offering from the scooty market leaders TVS Motor Corporation launched in October 2014. Thinking much about their third model in the field of scooters, the innovation of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 is quite preferable indeed. Though it has been a new find by the TVS Motor Corporation, the best part for a new scooty was to get launched just after the Pep Plus and the Streak from the market leaders. Indeed, the manufacturers have built quite a strong market in the country with their innovation; the result for bringing up the TVS Scooty Zest 110 is also expected to be quite higher indeed. For the scooter, it has come up with a lot of expectations from the manufacturers and is waiting for its turn to roar in the market.

Zest 110 is primarily a girl centric scooter than boys could ride too. Pink and blue color offering might be due to this reason only and not black or white. However if boys end up getting it there is always an option of blue.

    Mechanical Specifications

    Scooty Zest 110 Engine
For the mechanical specifications of the TVS Scooty Zest 110, it is all well with a 110 cc engine which is quite sensible for a scooter. Also apart from this, the engine has a single cylinder being Air Cooled. The engine gets a full power of 8 bhp as well as something that we will think of. The mechanical specification of the bike is boosted with the torque of 8.70 Nm. The fuel delivery system is Carburetor which is because of a Digital IDI Ignition. Apart from this it has an automatic gearbox type which has a CVT type gear which has a drum brake technology has been active with the 130 mm drum size. The scooter gets a 97 kg kerb weight which is quite on the heavier side along with the wheelbase of 1250 mm. When all these points sum up, there is a huge potentiality of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 to get a good review.

It could go from 0-60kmph in about 11.2sec which is quick. Zest in it could be really felt between 0-40kmph where it is like very quick which than continues till 60kmph speed after which it glides on road. However, top speed is not very high and stands at about 84kmph. Do not be surprised if Zest 110 is the first vehicle to get ahead at the traffic signals as it is pretty quick at low speed zone from 0-60kmph.

    Design and Styling

    Scooty Zest 110 Design
For the design and the looks of the TVS Scooty Zest 110, it has retained a perfect scooter appearance. The much more interesting thing is the variations of colors found for the TVS Scooty Zest 110 which makes the scooter so attractive indeed. The available colors for the scooter are as well as the Powerful Pink. Apart from these, there are other varieties requirements which are Terrific Turquoise as well as Red and Daring Black which make out a great look for the scooter. Other than this, the headlamps are halogen based and so are the tail lights. The TVS Scooty Zest 110 also has an analog use speedometer which is affected with the looks also making it even smarter. The finish is excellent and though it is targeted for women buyers there are no forced gender specific features.

One of the basic requirements for a women centric scooter is its light weight. At 97kg Zest 110 looks perfect thanks to the all new frame it uses which is tough as well as light. The centre stand which is one of the primary issues with girls is made super easy with patented stand it uses.

    Riding & Performance

Though the fuel tank capacity of the TVS Scooty Zest 110 is quite less, this is almost 5 liters in the capacity. The best part is that the performance of the scooty is integrated with the telescopic frontal suspension. It gets tubeless tyres which are quite in help with the wheel size of 10 inches which will give a perfect balance. This will be quite helpful indeed which is definitely of a huge help. Apart from this, the riding of the scooty is quite well with the appearance and the gesture.

    Mileage

One of the best in the segment, Zest 110 also comes with excellent fuel efficiency. On city roads it gives an average of 53kmpl and on highways it could go up to 57.5km on a litre of petrol. It could give even better mileage as the figures given here are tested by male and women are supposed to be lighter in weight.
