Two new cars are expected to be launched by Renault in 2009. The 2 cars are Renault Sandero which will be priced between 4-5 lakhs and Renault Megane which will have a price tag of 12-14 lakhs.
2009 Renault Sandero will be Renault’s low cost car for India. Renault Sandero is a modern hatchback that is attractive, robust and dynamic. The attractive headlamps in the front and grille, bumper that goes with the design makes it stand out from the crowd. Sandero is going to share much of its architecture from Logan minus boxy type look.
Sandero stands with Maruti Swift in terms of pricing but is much bigger then it. It is 4.02 meters in length and has a storage capacity of 320 litres which is quite like larger compacts. It has the best shoulder and head room in its class which makes it extra comfortable. Front seat shoulder room is 1400mm which rear have 878mm headroom.
The engine for Sandero is going to be 1.5 ltr dci diesel engine similar to that used in Logon. However, 1.2 ltr petrol engines will also be offered in Indian market.

Sandero looks very cute and hope its features and performace as well as fuel economy is good. If the price is in range of Getz, Swift,etc. it will be very welcome. I like to own this car. I want to know when it will be launch and the showroom price in Guwahati
