    Top 5 Indian Bikes for Tall Guys

    Comments made on Indian bike-related blogs suggest that tall guys feel “ignored “by Indian bike makers. Still, few bikes can offer a comfortable ride for tall riders. Let’s take a look at five such bikes available in India.

    1. Hero Impulse

    Impulse is powered by 149.2cc engine that is connected with five speed gear box. You can expect overall mileage of around 55 KMPL. The bike’s maximum speed is 115 KMPH. Air powers the bike cooled, 1-cylinder 149cc OHC engine that produces a maximum power of 13.2PS at 7500rpm and peak torque of 13.4Nm at 5000rpm. Telescopic shock absorbers in front and Swing Arm suspension at the rear give stability to the bike, and 240mm Disc and 110 swing-type brakes at the rear give good braking power. Together they make driving safe for riders.

    The bike has a disc brake in the front and an internally expanding shoe-type brake in the rear. Suspension is managed by its hydraulic telescopic absorbers in the front and swing arm mono suspension in the rear. The bike’s ground clearance is 245 mm, and the seat height is 835 mm. Hero Impulse has a price tag of around Rs 68,000, plus taxes.

    Like most Royal Enfield bikes, even this one is suitable for tall guys. The bike’s seat height is 800 mm, and its ground clearance is 135 mm. Classic 350’s design displays its royal elegance and rich heritage.

    The bike’s braking system consists of a disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear. Gas-charged shock absorbers in the rear and telescopic suspension in the front are world-class, just like the bike’s design. But the Classic 350’s price tag of around Rs 1,17,000 is something every fan won’t afford.

Karizma’s 223cc engine is connected to a 5-speed gearbox. You can expect a mileage of around 35 KMPL while driving in city areas and around 45 KMPL on highways. The fuel tank’s capacity is 15 liters.

    The bike’s ground clearance is 150 mm, and the seat height is around 795 mm. Its telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers in the front and swing arm hydraulic adjustable shock absorbers in the rear offer a balanced ride. The disc brake in the front and drum brake in the rear are good enough. Karizma R comes with a price tag of around Rs 78,000, plus applicable taxes.

    Xtreme 150
    Hero Xtreme 150 is another bike from Hero Moto Corp that can prove to be comfortable for tall guys. Even this bike’s seat height is 795 mm, while its ground clearance is 145 mm.

    Xtreme is powered by a 149.22cc engine that offers a mileage of 50 KMPL on city roads and around 60 KMPL while traveling on highways. Disc brake in the front and rear gives stability to the bike for better safety. The bike’s telescopic hydraulic-type suspension in the front and gas reservoir-type adjustable rear suspension system absorbs most of the bumps.

    Xtreme 150 comes with a price tag of around Rs 71,000 plus taxes.

    Honda CBF Stunner‘s seat height is 792 mm, and its ground clearance is 173 mm. Bike’s 124.7cc engine is fitted with a five-speed gearbox. You can expect a mileage of 52 KMPL on city roads and an impressive 65 KMPL while on highways.

    The bike offers the perfect ride, thanks to the hydraulic spring-loaded rear suspension and telescopic front suspension. The bike is fitted with a disc brake in the front wheel and a drum brake for the rear for better control. Bike’s top speed is 95 KMPH. Stunner is priced at around Rs 64,000, plus taxes.
